Tansu Restoration

<< Go to Restoration Page 1

Tansu of all styles and forms have a place in enriching our homes. They rarely require more than simply finding a place to set them down. On the rare occasion where we do make modifications to tansu, often there is a way to achieve the mutual goals of maintaining the historical integrity and patina of the objects without sacrificing usefulness and character.

The images above and to the right show inlaid wood fillets or "dutchman" repairs.
